Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 3 years.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling.

Every other weekend and holiday.

36 or 48 (OT billed after 48).

Able to titrate drips

Willing and able to float to IMC unit (1:4 ratio) to take patients and assist in MS units with tasking of needed

Types of procedures required:

  • Management of 1-2 critically ill patients, management of varying patient populations including critically ill medical, and surgical patients with an emphasis on renal and bone marrow transplant as well as oncology patients.
  • Ability to manage vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropics, antiarrhythmics, and other titratable drips.
  • Ability to assist with bedside procedures including RSI, Tracheostomy, line placement, other diagnostic tests.

Dress Code: Navy Scrubs

The candidate will get a total of 32 hours of orientation. That includes 8 hours of hospital orientation, 8 hours of orientation to ICU RST and 4 hours of orientation to our Intermediate ICU, and then 12 hours of orientation to our Broadway ICU. All of this will take place over the 1st week of the assignment.
