Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 3 years of Cardiac ICU experience

• First-timers accepted: Yes, with Cardio thoracic ICU experience and/or critical care experience
• Must have experience and be proficient with swan-ganz monitoring.
• Previous Charge Experience

Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Valve Replacement/Repair, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Post Craniotomy, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, IV insulin protocols.

Required Credentials: Government issued photo ID.

Unit/Facility Details: This is a high acuity cardiac ICU which requires knowledgeable, experienced RN's.

Parking Cost: $125/month

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: ICU and PCU
