Requirements
Experience
18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 18 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

LDRP

Required Skills/Experience:

• 18 months of LDRP experience.

• Experience with all aspects of LDRP patient care, circulating c-sections (required), experience with newborn care to include heel sticks, 24 hr. testing, NAS scoring, lactation support; postpartum care, Newborn resuscitation (NRP)

• Must have the skillset to work LDRP

Unit/Facility Details:

• Patient Ratios per AWHONN Guidelines

• Free parking

Special Requests: RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

• On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – decline if not agreeable:

Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises.
