Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

22 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Information

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Friday and Saturday every other weekend.

Skills Required: • Proficient in IV start • Experience with telemetry • Competency with ventilators

Float Required: Yes Note: will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.

Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac Medical ICU ACS Acute MI Cardiogenic Shock Post interventional cardiac procedure patients Decompensating heart failure TAVR

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more.
