Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

NIHSS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Med Surg/Telemetry/Stepdown

Required Skills/Experience: At least 2 years of previous Med Surg or Stepdown experience

Traveler must be comfortable with an acute patient population (critcal gtts, drips)

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend; No call required

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float to ER; traveler must be comfortable doing so.

The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
