• Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Congenital Heart Disease/Repair, Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post Cardiac catheterization, Post cardiac surgery, Insulin administration, IV Insulin Pumps, Management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/ management, Hyperthermia management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Administration of blood & blood products, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line management, TPN/Lipids, Antiarrhythmics, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Management of Chest Tubes, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Urinary catheter insertion/management, Infection control/PPE, Vaccine Administration, Wound assessment/care, Arterial line management, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring.
• Min 3-5 Year PED CVICU Exp (will consider 5-years PEDS ICU exp instead)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• PICU, Heart Transplant, ECMO, Post pacemaker insertion, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Anti-Seizure Medications, Tracheostomy care, Acute/chronic renal failure, NICU, Prior Teaching Hospital Experience.

Required Credentials: RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply.

Special Requests:

• Travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit. An interview may not be given prior to an offer being made.

• Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests.

• All tentative RTO must be included at time of submittal- additional requests mid-contract will not be accepted

• RTO must be discussed and approved by the hiring manager at time of offer.

• If an auto-offer unit, RTO must be included and limited to 1-week total RTO. Anything over 7 days will require manager approval at time of offer.

• Travel Pairs: travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit

Shift & Scheduling:

• Variable Shifts: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00), Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00).
• Minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period.
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other
• Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period

Floating Requirements: Float Policy: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite Job Specifications. Please ensure this is discussion at time of submission, and time of offer.
