Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.
Shift: Flex start times based on case volume
Weeknight/Call Requirements: Rotating weeknight call requirements, frequently have late weekday cases
Weekend/Call Requirements: Rotating weekend call required, often one weekend day with case lineup of 8+ cases
Holiday/Call Requirements: Shared weekend/holiday call
What is call response time? 30 minutes
Suites: 2 procedure rooms, 15 preop/PACU beds
Common Cases: high volume of inpt/outpt. EGD, colonoscopy, complex EUS, ERCP, stone management, EMR, stent placement-temporary and permanent, GI bleed, bronchoscopy, EBUS and ION cases
Required Duties: Techs assist with procedures and scope reprocessing.
Experience or 'Must have' skills: MUST: Requires strong proficiency in advanced EUS, complex ERCP and stent placement/exchange/removal and stone management
Preferred: advanced skills for EBUS, ION
Endo techs need solid, meticulous manual scope washing and handling skills, HLD skills in Medivator DSD Edge and Olympus OER Pro, proficient and independent general GI skills for biopsy, snare, GI bleed, injections, lifting agents, banding, dilation with balloon or savory/Maloney dilators.
