Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• First-time traveler accepted only with 2+ years of experience.

• Skills: Experience with Cardiac procedural recovery (CABG/TAVR/post cardiac cath), MI pharmacology, titratable Cardiac/vasoactive gtts (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levo, Dopamine)

Preferred Skills/Experience: Heparin gtts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes management, TNK administration.

Required Credentials: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing.

Unit/Facility Details:

• This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation / Holiday Expectations: Every Other

• No call requirements.

Floating Requirements: Will float primarily to our sister unit, General PCU – as needed. Could also be floated to MS/Tele or ICU to care for PCU level patients. Could be floated within scope of practice and below.
