Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Hawaii license

Certifications

ACLS (Required)

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

RN Surgical Acute - Required

Required:

Knowledgeable in surgical pre/postoperative care

Standard RPN III skills (at least 2 yrs. experience) in order to be proficient in duties and role as a registered nurse

Strong work experience in pre/postoperative nursing (i.e. abdominal surgeries, like lap chole/appy, mastectomies, thyroidectomies, chest tubes, drains

Travelers may be assigned to float to other units

Dress Code: Regular nursing uniforms

Shift Information:

No 'on call' requirement.

Must be able to work Shifts/Weekends.

Must be flexible.
