Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Patient Ratios – 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds - team nursing - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed

Experience in traveling or experience at large facility areas

Preferred or nice to have: Meditech experience

Been to a 52 bed ER or larger

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics

Good grasp on patient experience

Cannot have an employment gap of more than 90 days (regardless of reason) in the past 12 months.
