Guaranteed Hour: 40

M-Th with 1-2 shifts of call per week and every 3rd F/Sa/Su call weekend, and assigned holidays as well. We had a FTE leave the department last week and another FTE transfer out of IR this next week.

Level III Trauma Center

Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, with high level experience in a larger facility.

  • Patient Types:
  • Almost all adults, very rarely low acuity peds patients for g-tube exchanges and such
  • Kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, spinal taps, nephrostomy tubes/nephroureteral stents, central lines/ports/temporary dialysis catheters, coil embolization, biopsies, occasional fistula/graft declot, g-tubes from scratch and exchanges, thoras/paras, IVC filter, EKOS/ANARI thrombolysis/thrombectomy, Y90/liver directed, TIPS procedures
  • PVD cases done rarely

Clinician-to-Patient Ratios: 1:1

  • Skills required:

  • Would prefer to have experience with all case types above

  • Would prefer have experience with equipment listed above as well (EKOS/Anari)

  • Well rounded, higher acuity experience. Plenty of angiography experience

  • Floating: If yes, where?

  • Could float to CT to scrub in and help out

  • Some bedside procedures as well

  • Scheduling:

  • Weekend rotation: Call only

  • On call? Yes

  • Varies, based off unit needs. Typically 1-2 call shifts per week day

  • Every third weekend possibly (could vary based on unit needs)

  • Call will be EOS to 0700

  • Holiday Expectations: Every other holiday, call only

Approval of RTO: to go through manager

Schedule cycle: Will typically work same days, but could have rotating day off for the 10h shifts
