Requirements

Experience

6 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Renal Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Nonbillable Orientation hours: 12; Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation.

Preferred Nephrology or Urology experience

6 months experience as an RN in an acute healthcare setting.

Alternating weekends and holidays.

Scrubs, any color. No visible tattoos or piercings (may have one set of small earrings).

Specific training for the urology, nephrology, and transplant population will be completed on the unit.
