Previous Employment Requirements: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Required Skills/Experience Must have background in Critical Care/ Cardiac Critical Care, Open heart recovery experience, Post cardiac procedure recovery.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Procedures: Post-Open Heart, Post-Cardiac Procedures, Surgical, Central Line Placements, Arterial Line Placements, Chest Tube Placements. Edwards Monitoring, GE Monitoring, SWAN Ganz catheters, etc.
Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population: Post Surgical Management for Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracotomies, TAVRs, Post Complex PCI Interventions.
Unit/Facility Details: 8 Beds
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Special Requests: No Block Scheduling.
Shift & Scheduling: All jobs with a 12 hour schedule have the option of a 36 or 48 hour work week.
