Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Certifications

NIHSS (Required)

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: 2 years recent experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit minimum

Must have experience with CRRT, Bipaps, drawing own labs, Chest Tubes PICC, no vascular access team, call on own consults, conduct own codes(must be comfortable)

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend Required

On-Call Requirements: None

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs Will need Christmas Eve/Day & New Years Eve/Day Coverage

THP will attend the fist 2 days of orientation at the KUKC Campus

Floating Requirements: Will be expected to float to ICU and all inpatient units- Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED with prior experience
