Requirements
Experience
24 months of acute care experience within the past 3 years.
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Oncology Clinic experience within the past 3 years.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non Specific, Cytotoxic Therapy, Recognize/manage side effects, Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression, Care and management of ports, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values, Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy, Antiemetics, Antitumor, Corticosteroids, Hormonal therapy, Neupogen, Breast Cancer, Care coordination, Isolation Precautions, Neutropenic precautions, Telephone Triage, Medication tolerance/dependence assessment, Outpatient oncology.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Administration of chemotherapy, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Advanced directives, Hospice care, Patient/Family education and support, Withholding/withdrawing treatment, Antibiotics, IV push narcotic agents, Wound care.

Required Credentials: Government issued photo ID.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday

Floating Requirements: Travelers are the first to float. The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete contract.
