Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

BSN completion required

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience: Must have exp working at a fast paced, Inner City Hospital

Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Chest tube insertion/management, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation, Ventilated patients, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Level II Trauma Center, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Isolation Precautions, Triage.

Community Hospital Experience

Required Credentials: RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 4 weekend in a biweekly period

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request
