Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Oncology Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Step down experience, we use lots of standing orders (fluid bolus, first fever) and very acute hematology pts.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Lumbar puncture, bone marrow biopsies with conscious sedation and no sedation. Thoracentesis.

Equipment Used on Unit: Tele, bladder scanner, alaris pump and alaris PCA.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds - 18. Blood Cancer Unit.
