Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Proficiency in nursing skills such as but not limited to: IV starts and blood draws, NG tube placements, ECG rhythm interpretation, Lab and ABG interpretation, Critical care drips and titrations, Management of ventilators, arterial lines, chest tubes, Central Venous lines (including Large-Volume Vas Caths), Assisting physicians with bedside procedures and conscious sedation, Ability to effectively communicate with patients & families.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior experience in a teaching hospital with resident physicians. High-acuity ICU where the RN manages advanced skills such as CRRT, IABP, Arterial Sheath pulls, and other devices. Prior experience in SICU, MICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU and PCU/Med-surg.

Required Credentials: All online learning Lifetalent assignments including but not limited to: NIHSS, ACLS/BLS, Moderate Sedation/Analgesia, iStat and glucometer certifications.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Call Requirements: None

Floating Requirements: Critical Care Unit, CVICU overflow, Critical Care Step-Down, Med-Surg
