Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is preferred with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Additional Details:

Every other weekend.

2 years of acute care RN experience, required.

Education (Required): Diploma or Associate.

Required Skills: • IV insertion • Blood draws • PICC/Central Line management • Trach Care • Periotoneal dialysis • PCA pump • Feeding tubes • Continuous bladder irrigation

Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes.

Top diagnosis/procedures: Bariatric surgery, Colorectal surgery, GI diagnosis.

Common equipment used: PCA pumps, feeding tubes Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? No Common medications given: PCA pumps, TPN.

Scrub Color (are they provided): Galaxy Blue, not provided.
