Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
36 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
ACLS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Orientation Hours: 24

Days - Call starts at 1530 until 0700 next morning. Typically 4 weeknights per month Will increase if staffing decreases.

Weekend/Call: Typically 1 full wknd per month. 0700 Sat-0700 Monday.

Holiday/Call: case by case Must be 30 mins from hospital during call

Common Cases: Ortho- total joints, sports med, hands and trauma, General, Gyn, C-sections, Endoscopy.

Must have' skills: Minimum of 3 years OR experience and a strong Ortho background. Some endo experience needed.

Floating Requirements: The OR team covers endoscopy. CST's are required to have some SPD and HLD experience.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Blue- scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy. OR shoes.

We pair travelers with a preceptor for unit specific orientation. Unit Norms and System Values

Will be discussed during this time, 5 days of orientation.
