Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 3 years.
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 of CAH/ similar setting if a first time traveler or 2 years ED experience but still in a similar setting if no previous travel RN to be used to working with limited resources.

Must be willing to work inpatient MS and flex to do so.

Required Credentials: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

  • Weekend Requirements: Q3rd weekend: Friday Sat, Sunday

  • Holiday Requirements: Q3rd Holiday, but expected to work major winter holiday

  • Call call or a standby requirement: No on call in addition to your scheduled shifts; may be placed on call if there are no inpatients in house (rotated)

Floating Requirements: All agency contracts are required to work the ED unit and Inpatient MS unit (12 beds avg 1 patient) will be scheduled in both areas as needed. Potential in future to assist with new location if census is down, at new Wisconsin Rapids ER (3/1) Same size and set up facility.
