Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience Stepdown/ Intermediate/PCU experience

Ventilator/Trach experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ICU experience

Unit/Facility Details: 36 beds

Med Surg Intermediate Care unit. Heavy Tele. Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke.

Special Requests:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday

On Call/Call Back Requirements: Picking up call permitted, not required. Response time (if picking up call): 1 hour

This unit has the contract end on Sunday, not Saturday
