Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Required Skills/Experience: Nurses must read own strips.

Required Credentials: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and 2 out of 3 holidays; If census low and scheduled, may be asked to be on standby.

Floating Requirements: General peds & burn unit for non-burn care of pediatric patients (the burn staff handle the burn care), NICU (voluntary). Travelers are first to float.

Travel pairs are not accepted.
