Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience 2 years SDU/IMCU experience.

Vent on IMC level required

Preferred Skills/Experience: 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)

Required Credentials: Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available)

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course (preferred)

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: BiPAP, CPAP, High flow, HHFNC.

Unit/Facility Details: Ratios 1/4-5 (days) and 1/5 (nights).

Mixed IMC acuity patients. Cardiac: NSTEMI, stress tests, cardioversions, TEE's. Neuro: May see some neuro patients. General: HD, AKI, CRF, GI bleeds. Respiratory: COPD, CHF, COVID.

All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing.
