Requirements
Experience
22 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Ultrasound Tech

Weekend Requirement: Occasional weekend coverage

Call Requirement: 1-2 nights per week

Floating Requirement: All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility

Block Schedules required.

Required Certifications: ARDMS AB

Preferred Certifications: ARDMS BR, ARDMS OB/GYN

Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1/1

Teaching Hospital

Community Hospital Experience preferred.

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Diagnoses: 3 different areas in the hospital. One is mostly inpatient, ER, vascular, and procedures, the second is mostly out patients including breast ultrasound, and the Third area is ob. We try to rotate everyone through each area.

Parking Cost: No Fee

Scrub Color: All RN/Allied: any color; scrubs are provided in sterile units like OR/ICU/ER/COVID

RTO must be listed at time of submittal, post submission RTO will not be approved.

Return Providence Staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler

References Required: 2 Supervisory References covering 1 year (6 months for CNA’s) within last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead.

Compliance document deadline is Monday prior to start.

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
