Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool experience within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • PICU and CVPICU experience to include hands on with generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background.
  • Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis.

Types of Patients on Unit:

  • High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip/ Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia).

Unit/Facility Details: Medical/Surgical Unit Hematology/Oncology Unit Progressive Care Unit Technology Dependent Intensive Care Unit Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Neuroscience Unit Emergency Department (Minor Care) Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Level II Critical Care Units: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Emergency Department (Main Treatment Area) All RP Level 3 Staff RNs are supported by the general care unit and critical care unit’s leadership and report to the Operations Center Manager. Level 3 RNs are part of a team of caregivers who provide staffing support to a variety of units. RN Level 3 RNs are able to take assignments in general care units as well as at least two critical care units. Assigned units will be within the Level 3 RN’s skill level and could include:
