Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Shift & Scheduling: EOW. Call Requirement: Not required, but could pick up if wanted. Holidays: Rotate with core staff.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to circulate C-sections.

Types of Patients on Unit: Standard labor, multiples, high risk, vacuum, and VBACs

Unit/Facility Details: L&D Beds: 8 with 6 overflow. Triage beds: 7 in L&D. Postpartum beds: 40 beds (Mother/Baby, antepartum, and GYN). Births per day, per year: 1800-2000 births per year. Ratios: LD - 1:2 labor, 1:1 delivery, 1:3 triage.

Floating Requirements: Post Partum.
