Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience within the past 12 months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Scrub & Circulate required. Candidate must be able to scrub & circulate for all types of CVOR cases.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge nurse experience preferred. Community Hospital Experience. Teaching Hospital Experience. Trauma Level II Experience.

Floating Requirements: Floating required as needed to general OR.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend and weekday call required: M-Fri 3:30p-7a & Weekends 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 7a-7a. Weekends are Sat/Sun.

Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted. Travelers MUST complete labs within 48 hours of signing

Required Credentials: Unexpired Government-Issued Photo ID. BLS ACLS (AHA Instructor or Provider, ARC, Military acceptable). RQI Acceptable.
