Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

BSN completion preferred

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

VCU has a natural nail policy.

No time off requests during the first week of the contract.

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy: Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Exp with liver and renal doppler. Teaching Hospital Experience.

Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.

Special Requests: RTO should be included at the time of submission. No time off will be granted during the first of week of the traveler’s assignment.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Thursday. Call Required: Yes.
