Requirements

Experience

6 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 60 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Additional Details:

Cardiac Telemetry RN - Required

Required Skills / Experience: Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months - three (3) years

Management Experience of zero (0) - three (3) years

Experience in a cardiac tele department

Experience with TAVR, watchmans, mitral clips, heart catheterizations, preop/post op open heart (when transferred out of CVICU), cardiac IV and PO, cardiac drips at a flat rate (cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin), anticoagulant, CHF, CP, arythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, post op CABG greater than 3 days, Sepsis, PNA, Stroke, observation patients, use TR band, groin management, and be familiar with complications

Preferred Skills / Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
