24 months of Operating Room experience is required from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekends: Every Other

Call Requirements: Late stay (3-5) Monday-Thursday, no scheduled cases after 5 daily

Float Requirements: Yes, PACU if needed but not required

Patient Population: Adult and Geriatrics

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: pain injections, eye surgeries, EGD, colonoscopy, general surgery including laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Wound debridement, port insertion and removal, plastics to include breast implants and implant removal, AV Graphs, Fistulogram, tunnel caths
