Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.

24 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license

Please note that should you receive an offer for this position, you will have 48 hours to accept/decline.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have PC/AC/Tele/ Med Surg experience.

Required Credentials: License Hits: University of Kentucky WILL Not accept any licensure hits.

Unit/Facility Details: Compliance: EKG Onboarding exam, Math exam, Med/Pharmacology exam, Progressive Care Competency exam, Progressive Care skills, CORE exams. Cert: BLS, ACLS - RQI accepted, NIH - AHA, American Stroke Association, NIHSS, Apex Innovations or AACME.

Special Requests: If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract. Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.

Shift & Scheduling: Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day). Must be willing to fulfill a full 13 week contract. Every other weekend required.

Floating Requirements: Float Requirement to other universal/progressive areas within UKHC and Good Samaritan.
