Work settings: diagnostic cardiac cath lab, interventional cardiac cath lab
Cardiac cath lab procedures: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Temporary Pacemaker (preferred: ASD Closures, Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR)
Electrophysiology studies: Preferred - Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, Electrophysiology Evaluation, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion
Abdominal and pelvic: Preferred - Angioplasty, Embolization, Mesenteric Angiogram, Stent placement
Vascular studies/procedures: Required - Angioplasty, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography Preferred: Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots)
Venous access: required-central venous access (tunneled port)
Procedural responsibilities: required - accurate monitoring, equipment set up, prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, scrub - maintain sterile field. Preferred: perform EKG lead placement, vascular closure systems (perclose, starclose)
Professional knowledge and skills: required - isolation precautions. preferred - use of rapid response team

RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.
No RTO the first week of an assignment.
Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.
All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.
Allied and Non-Clinical: Travelers can stay for a period of 12 months. Must take a 6 month break in service after 12 months
