Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Case Management experience.
BSN completion required
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a California license

Required Skills/Experience: Acute Hospital, Long Term Acute Care/Rehab/Skilled Nursing, Case Management/Utilization Review, Admission Criteria, Care coordination, Discharge Planning, Utilize InterQual Criteria, Utilize Milliman Guidelines, Regulatory, CMS: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, CPT (Current Procedural Technology) coding and billing, Department of Health, DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups), HEDIS (The Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) Measures, HIPAA guidelines (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), ICD 10 Coding, NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance), OSHA: Occupational Safety and Health Administration, The Joint Commission/ Core Measure/National Safety Goals, and Worker’s Compensation.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior Teaching Hospital Experience.

Required Credentials: Bachelors Degree.

Preferred Credentials: Masters Degree in Nursing or healthcare related filed

Unit/Facility Details: Demonstrates resourcefulness, superior written and oral communication, diplomacy, organizational and analytic skills.

Floating Requirements: Ability to float to other UCSF Facilities. Float Policy: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite Job Specifications.
