Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Gastrointestinal; Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Isolation Precautions, Endocrine/Metabolic, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Cardiovascular, Genitourinary/Renal

Preferred Skills/Experience: Care of Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Feeding tube care and management, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Surgical drains

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID

**Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:**Sepsis, DKA/Hyperglycemia, CHF exacerbation, NSTEMI, Acute GI bleed, Ventilator weaning, Acute kidney injury, Respiratory distress/failure, Wounds/burns, Acute liver failure, Drug overdose

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults

Unit/Facility Details: 29 bed adult stepdown/PCU Daily Census 29

Shift & Scheduling: 50% of holidays on contract is required. Every Other Weekend

Floating Requirements: To ICU and MS cluster (ICU- patient acuity taken into consideration)
