Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Required Skills/Experience:

Must be able to circulate General/GYN/Urology/PV cases including bowel resections, laparoscopic cases, DaVinci Xi cases, urology (open & scope), peripheral vascular, bariatrics, GYN (open and vaginal), c-sections, lap appy & lap chole.
Must be able to circulate ortho cases, total joints with or without MAKO robot (knees, hips, shoulders, ankles), arthroscopy & ortho trauma. Also c-sections, lap appy, lap chole and bowel resections.
Must be able to circulate Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics cases such as: trach, ENT (T&A or BMT or FESS), plastics, breast reductions, spine fusions, laminectomy, crani, facial fractures, Laryngoscopy/Bronchoscopy, neck dissections. Also c-sections, lap appy, lap chole and bowel resections.

Required Credentials:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Shift & Scheduling: 4x10-hr days 0700-1730 or 5x8hr days 0700-1530). Will work 1 week of PMs per 4 week schedule, when working a week of PM shifts are 5x8 hr (Mon-Fri). Weekend requirement: 1 weekend of call approximately every 5-6 weeks. Holiday requirement: 1 holiday/year. Call 1-2 nights per week.

Floating Requirements: To the Outpatient Surgery Center across campus.
