Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience within the past 12 months.

AS completion required

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: Every other weekend Call Requirements: N/A

Floating Requirements: May occasionally be required to float to IMCU, NPCU and/or Surgical.

Unit Details: Number of Beds: 24

Equipment Used on Unit: Life Paks, Zoll, Masmio, Cerner

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Generalized cardiac patients ranging in ages from young adult to elderly adult.

Required Skills/Experience: Must Have Skills/Experience: Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Chest Pain, A-fib, CHF, Pre & Post care for cardiac caths (groin & radial), VATS
