Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Altera Digital Health a Harris Company is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Shift: 3x12s or 4x12s accepted

6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks' time frame

Orientation Hours: 80

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 1-5

Patient Diagnoses:

  • Active Labor
  • Induction/ Augmentation of labor
  • Primary Cesarean Section Delivery
  • Repeat Cesarean section Delivery
  • Antepartum monitoring
  • Non-Stress Test
  • May keep gestational 34 weeks and up

Special Procedures/Unit:

  • Level II Maternal Facility
  • Level II NICU

Return traveler Status. Previous perm staff must be gone 1 year in order to return as a traveler

Proof of ID: Driver's License/State ID

BLS, ACLS - Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable
