Cath lab experience required
Critical care experience and NIH Stroke exp. required
Skills: This is not for the procedural area but for prepping and recovering cath lab patients. Preparing patients for catheterization procedures: administering medications, conscious sedation, monitoring patients' vital signs, assisting during the procedure, ensuring patients' comfort and safety and providing post-procedure care: pull sheaths, monitoring, education.
Mon-Fri (alternating day off)
Call: 8-9 days per month including one weekend - call hours weekends Fri at 5p-Mon at 6:30a, and weekdays from 5p-6:30a
Floating to IR and EP possible
Adults (18-64 years) Geriatrics (65 years and older)
Education: Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)
Work Experience: 1 year RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR (required)
