Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required skills and experience: Port access, blood product administration, electrolyte mgmt., EOL care, pain/symptom mgmt., PIV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation

Preferred skills and experience: Oncology

Shift & schedule requirements: Every other weekend. Travelers will work 75% of holidays.

Floating requirements: Within the cancer center first, then to any med-surg unit within the hospital. 5 Facility Float Clause - Emergency Only
