Travel Nurse (LVN / LPN) - Oncology Clinic

Outpatient clinic

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum Experience: 1.5 years of nursing experience – 1 year must be in Oncology and must be current experience.
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? No – must have completed at least (1) 13-week assignment.
• EPIC Ambulatory is required.
• Experience as first assist and chaperoning for provider with exams and procedures done in clinic.
• Clinic experience required. -Rooming patients; VS, Review of Systems, Medication Reconciliation, Weight -Obtaining orders; processing patients for infusions/communication if cleared -Chart checks -Set up for procedures -Review of referrals

Required Credentials: Required Education: LPN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing. NURSYS.

Special Requests: Approval of time off? may approve up to 7 days (excluding holidays), as long as traveler is willing to extend the contract to accommodate.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No weekends.
• No call.
• No major holidays – will be scheduled to work minor holidays that the clinic is open.

Floating Requirements: Floating: If yes, where?

• Will routinely work with different physicians within Medical Oncology.
• Possibly pulled to work with other physicians outside of Medical Oncology (to another clinic), but unlikely.
