Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Additional Details:

Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with central lines, transvenous pacemaker, chest tubes. Will accept 1st time traveler if 2 years experience in Level 1 Trauma center with necessary skills set.

Required Credentials: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Government issued ID required.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Diagnoses- Fast Track, Triage, 6% Psych population, 20% Peds population. No trauma center, but stabilizes trauma for transport. No cath lab- STEMI transferred out. Stroke center

Previous Employment Requirements: Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler. All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

Floating Requirements: Will float between Farmington and Bonne Terre locations
