Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

NRP (Required)

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in c-sections.

Must be comfortable assisting with catching baby and transitioning baby.

Will consider someone with 1 year of experience if they have multiple prior travel experience

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Requirements: Every other. Days (Sat and Sun) Nights (Fri and Sat)

Holiday Requirements: rotate in with perm staff

Call or standby requirement: When placed standby, response time is 45 minutes

Floating Requirements: Mother baby and post-partum all one unit. No floating to NICU. No floating outside of the department; Labor Travelers also need to function in Postpartum with routine mom and baby competencies; also need to be able to transition babies & attend low risk deliveries

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
