Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed Hours 36

Weekend Requirements: Usually every 3rd but could be more if there is a need, weekends are 12 hour shifts.

Holiday Requirements: Will work a holiday if there is a need.

What areas do they cover: Hematology, Coag, Chemistry, Micro, Blood Bank.

LIS System: Blood Bank: Softbank, Hematology: WAM, Chemistry: Unity.

Experience or ‘Must have’ skills & common job duties: Must have Generalist experience. Prefer experience with all systems and equipment.

Do they need to perform Phlebotomy: Yes

Certs: MLT/MT need ASCP or AMT certifications.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific color as long as clean and professional.
