Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Medications, Heparin, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Work Settings, Med/Surg, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Additional Skills, Heparin Drip Management

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Traumatic Brain injury, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, MS/Tele, Telemetry

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID
