Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

PALS (Required)

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Patient Ratios – PICU: 2:1; Pediatrics: 5:1

Preferred: 2 years of PICU

Preferred: Worked for a Children’s Hospital

Floating Area(s): Intermediate NICU

Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue Scrubs and Jacket

Weekends and On call(if any)

4 weekend shifts required per 4 weeks

On-call based on census

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Moderate Sedation
