Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing required
- De-escalation experience, experience with physical restraints (chemical restraints are NOT used), medication passes, comfortability to run groups, documentation; Traveler may have the opportunity to act as Charge, but this is not required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric BH experience
Required Credentials: MOAB is obtained on site (part of orientation)
Types of Patients on Unit: Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to: Eating Disorders, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Gender Dysphoria
Unit Details:
- Beds: 94 – Peds 50 – beds; Adults – 44
- Free Parking
Special Requests: Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: every other; Saturday/Sunday
- Holiday Expectations: expected to work holidays in rotation
Floating Requirements: Between all units – Adults and Peds
