Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with endoscopy procedures, assisting GI provider, scope handling, and cleaning endoscopes

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: routine screening, polyps, biopsies, dilation, GI bleed

Types of Patients on Unit: adult/geriatric patients

Equipment Used on Unit: Olympus endoscopes and endoscope equipment

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 2 procedure rooms

Patient Ratios: 1 patient per procedure room, maximum 14 patients per procedure day

Shift & Scheduling: EOW

Weekend Hours: on-call, 7a-7p

Call Requirements: 1 weekend a month

Floating Requirements: May assist with helping hands, non-patient care needs during down time if no procedures.
