Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend

Call Requirements: none

Charge experience required.

Patient Ratios: Based on acuity

Patient Population: Maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, peds.

Must Have Skills/Experience: Labor & Delivery , mother/baby, peds, & gyn

Scrub color: No preference

Any unacceptable attire: Follow HR policy on professional dress code.
