Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
- 2+ years of PICU and CVPICU experience to include hands on with generalized respiratory, neuro surge patients and a vigorous cardiac care background.
- Strong skill set needed in all care areas due to our acuity and diverse population of patient diagnosis.
- High proficiency in post-neurosurgery patients, asthmatics, or trauma, SI, Status Epilepticus, Cleft Lip/ Palate, Craniofacial and specific medication administration (versed, narcotic analgesia)
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating shifts to include every other weekend and holidays.
